Adventure Fest

Adventure Fest is a free, community event for kids and adults who want to experience the adventures that are possible at Great Parks of Hamilton County.

Activities
Spanning more than 1,400 acres in western Hamilton County, Mitchell Memorial Forest is home to a challenging mountain bike trail, fishing pond, picnic areas, hiking trails and more. Adventure Fest will take advantage of these features in a day of fun activities. 

REI is bringing their Pop-Up Bike Shop and two REI bike techs.

9–12 p.m. National Trails Day Volunteer Project sponsored by REI  
12–8 p.m. Demos, Food, Activities and Live Music  
12-2 p.m. Mill Creek Drifters  
3-5 p.m. Hickory Robot  
6-8 p.m. Buffalo Wabs  


Gear Swap
Trade outdoor gear with others at AdventureFest between 1–3 p.m. Anyone and everyone is welcome to swap gear. Gear will be swapped "as is.” No cost to participate.


Cost

Admission to the park will be free. However, some activities may require paid or advance registration.
