Free Summer Concert

Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, July 31

The natural beauty of Woodland Mound provides the perfect backdrop for a summer evening concert. Led by an upbeat and engaging conductor, John Morris Russell, the Pops performs songs from across musical genres appealing to a diverse audience. The evening would not be complete without local fare from the best food trucks and breweries. Come early to find your perfect viewing spot and snap a picture in the photo booth.

Is the event rain or shine?
The event will continue rain or shine. However, in the event of lightening/ thunderstorms the event will be cancelled. Follow the Foundation’s Facebook page for up-to-date information @greatparksfoundation
Where should I park?
After entering the park, you will be guided by volunteers and staff on where to park. There will be plenty of parking. Great Parks will also have 2 buses to shuttle guests to the concert from parking lots.

What is there to do before the concert?
Bring Your Great Parks Photos
We are excited to partner with Photos Finished and CDS Media Solutions to create a Great Parks history archive booth at the Pops concert on July 3, 6-9 p.m. Bring your old photos taken in any Great Park and have them digitized. Photos Finished and CDS Media Solutions will professionally scan your items and provide digital versions for you for free. You can bring photos taken at any of these Great Parks: Campbell Lakes Preserve, Embshoff Woods, Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve, Fernbank Park, Francis RecreAcres, Glenwood Gardens, Lake Isabella, Little Miami Golf Center, Miami Whitewater Forest, Mitchell Memorial Forest, Otto Armleder Memorial Park, Sharon Woods, Shawnee Lookout, Triple Creek, Winton Woods, Withrow Nature Preserve, Woodland Mound.
